Veil Tulle Options
British made nylon tulle
This traditional tulle is a winner in so many ways, it is light, clear, delicate, stronger than many other tulles, less likely to pluck and snag in our opinion. This is our ‘go-to’ tulle for all veils, it is easily identified by the hexagonal shape ‘holes’ of the knit.
Best of all, its sheerness is wonderful and the texture means it holds its shape beautifully.
For the light ethereal look some gowns demand, this is always going to be our favourite choice, especially for a traditional style veil to accompany a fuller skirt.
Italian tulle
A beautiful ethereal tulle. This is a nylon fabric, it holds its shape and is very elegant and has a soft glossy feel. The ‘holes’ are diamond shape and very fine. This is a luxurious tulle, and can support the weight of all endings.
Pure Silk tulle
The finest of tulle, a traditional hexagonal knit, and a natural fabric. The silk tulle we use is either from the UK, a ‘dressed’ tulle which is as light as air, ultra fine and the epitome of refinement. This tulle is made from a natural fibre, therefore there may be flaws which are usually small and add to the authenticity. This has a hexagonal knit ‘hole’ shape.
The softer ‘undressed’ silk tulle we use is from France or Italy and is very soft, very fine and the ultimate in a ‘delicate’ luxurious feel.
British made ‘Silky’ tulle
A British made tulle, this is a soft and ‘drapey’ fabric, delicate and soft to the touch. This is a fabulous tulle option for a slimmer gown silhouette, it will cascade and cling. This has a hexagonal knit ‘hole’ shape.
